We are currently looking for an experienced IT Support Engineer to join our customer support team in Dubai, UAE.
We are seeking a team player who is self-motivated, with an excellent customer-handling manner, to support our rapidly growing customer base in the Marine Sector.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the customer-side IT Team in handling all outages and critical incidences.
  • Manage routine systems updates and patches.
  • Classify tickets and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Report to management any issues requiring escalation or participation from other teams (provisioning, support, infrastructure, or development).
  • Handle customer data under applicable data privacy policies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in Windows (Desktop and Server), MS SQL Server, Linux, networking (managing switches, VLANs), LanSweeper, supporting end-user devices (printers, scanners, etc).
  • Desirable to have experience/knowledge in firewall, Cisco FirePower, VMWare, tcpdump, iptables, RMM solution, Linux scripting, Windows Server cluster management.
  • Self-motivation in seeking solutions to tasks or technical issues.
  • Work well with others to chieve common goals and foster a positive team environment.
  • Flexibility to be available across different time zones.
  • Fluency in English.
